How to use ZBackup to Backup Zoom Cloud Recordings for Multiple Users

Currently, ZBackup.app was built to accommodate single-user accounts. By the end of 2022, we plan to develop multi-user functionality, but this workaround should help in the meantime.

To Upload Multiple Users' Recordings to One Location

For a folder-based integration like Dropbox, Google Drive, or OneDrive:
  1. Get all of your users’ Zoom & cloud account info.
  2. Register each user at https://go.zbackup.app/ and link them to their cloud accounts.
  3. Rename the ZBackup folder in their cloud accounts to something that distinguishes them like “Jane Jones - Zoom Backup”
  4. Share the folder with yourself (the admin).
  5. On your drive, add a shortcut to that folder in your centralized directory.
For an upload site integration like YouTube or Vimeo:
  1. Get all of your users’ Zoom accounts.
  2. Register each user at https://go.zbackup.app/ and link them to your main upload site account.

Billing for Multi-User Accounts

If you would prefer to receive 1 bill for all your users, create a ticket with support@zbackup.app. We can bill them manually as 1 subscription in the name of the admin in the amount that all the users cost. When the users register, they will be marked as prepaid accounts, so they don't have to handle payment.
